We’ve had a few requests for a directory of dirt roads in the Lakes Region.

Dirt roads are an important part of the Lakes Region landscape – and mountain bike riders love them and road riders hate them!

Can you help us compile a list of dirt roads in the Lakes Region? Please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the names of dirt roads that you know of and specify the town(s) for each. The length of the dirt portion of the road (exact or approximate) and any other information about the dirt road would be help as well. We’ll then figure out a way to store and display the data in a useful format so all of our visitors can benefit.

What a difference a few days make. Last Friday I was mountain biking at Gunstock , and today we've got a foot of snow on the ground! So I guess its time to winterize my bikes, dust off my indoor trainer, and break out the skis. Of course, if we get a sudden warm spell, I might still squeeze in a few more rides..

It will be interesting cross-country skiing on the sames trails at Gunstock that I've been riding this year - maybe I'll see some of you there!
